Rivery

Rivery publishes exactly one rate: $0.9 per BDU credit on Base, listed for monthly billing, with additional savings on annual billing that are not quantified on the page. Professional, Pro Plus and Enterprise are all contact-sales. The unit is now the BDU (Boomi Data Unit) credit, renamed from the RPU (River Pricing Unit) under Boomi ownership. The product combines ELT and orchestration in one platform, which differentiates it from pure-play ELT vendors.source - pulled 2026-09-22

Pricing model

Consumption in BDU (Boomi Data Unit) credits, the unit formerly called RPU: $0.9 per BDU credit on Base, listed for monthly billing. Professional, Pro Plus and Enterprise are contact-sales. Credits meter data moved, not rows: 1 credit per 100MB of database, file or webhook replication, 2 credits per 100MB for log-based CDC, 0.5 credit per API-source execution and 0.5 credit per workflow execution.

2026 changes

One rate is published now and only one: $0.9 per BDU credit on Base. The unit was renamed from RPU (River Pricing Unit) to BDU (Boomi Data Unit) under Boomi ownership, and the ladder is Base, Professional, Pro Plus, Enterprise. There is no $1,230 Starter plan and no published price above Base.

Pricing in detail

The credit meters data moved, not rows, and Rivery publishes the conversion table in full. Database, file storage and webhook replication cost 1 credit per 100MB transferred, pro-rata, regardless of how often the pipeline runs. Log-based CDC replication costs 2 credits per 100MB. Application and API sources default to 0.5 credit per execution per output table, and an entire orchestration workflow costs 0.5 credit per execution.

That structure rewards fat, infrequent database pulls and punishes chatty API pipelines with many small output tables. Rivery's own worked example makes it plain: 2 output tables pulled 3 times a day, 5 days a week, burns 15 credits a week, while shifting 1,725MB of Postgres data in a month burns 17.25. A team can model its own bill from those rules without a sales call, which is unusual in this category.

Rivery does not charge per connector or per user. Base is capped at 2 users and 1 environment; Professional lifts users to unlimited and environments to 2, Pro Plus to 3, Enterprise to unlimited. None of those three carries a published price, so Base is the only tier that can be budgeted from the rate card alone.

The free trial is 14 days or 1,000 credits, whichever runs out first, and gives access to Professional features. Note that Rivery values those 1,000 trial credits at $1,200 on the same page that lists Base at $0.9 per credit, so the trial is priced against a rate Rivery does not publish.

When to pick Rivery

Pick Rivery when ELT and orchestration should sit in one tool with one bill, the team prefers a managed scheduler over self-hosting Airflow, and the workload is database-shaped. The 1-credit-per-100MB rule makes bulk replication cheap and forecastable from the published table alone.

Avoid Rivery when the orchestration requirements are sophisticated (asset-graphs, complex retries), as Dagster or Airflow are stronger pure-play orchestrators. Also treat the pricing page with caution above Base: procurement will be negotiating without a list price, because Professional, Pro Plus and Enterprise publish none.

Mid-market estimate

No published rate to price against. No mid-market estimate: Rivery publishes no price above Base, and Base is capped at two users and one environment. This site does not publish a figure a vendor has not published itself, so there is no mid-market line here.source - pulled 2026-09-22Price the vendors that do publish at /tco-calculator.
